Evangelical Meetings
Charles Blanchard also established the practice of having a week-long, evanelistic series of meetings each semester, preceded by a Day of Prayer. In 1950, the evangelistic series led to a meeting where students volunteered to provide testimony of the Lord's blessings in their lives. The testimony lasted 42 hours and generated national coverage in the media.
